My focus

Employment

At work, I am a Funding Programme Designer at Science Practice. I work with funders to design more inclusive, transparent, and strategic grantmaking and philanthropy sector. Key skills: qualitative research, programme design, event facilitation, communications.

My previous experience includes: academic research in biomedical science (PhD, 2017, University of Cambridge), supporting the early-career researcher community and promoting open science and transparency in research communication / science publishing (eLife, 2016-2018, 2020; ASAPbio, 2018-2020; mentor, Open Life Science, 2020; advisor, PREreview, 2018-2020; fellow, CSCCE Community Engagement Fellowship Program (CEFP 2019)).
